Day 1, February 5, Monday: Departure from USA. Overnight flight including dinner, breakfast and in-flight entertainment.

Day 2, February 6, Tuesday: Tel Aviv. Arrival at Ben Gurion Airport. We are met, assisted, and escorted to our hotel by aviatours staff. We meet for dinner and overnight in our hotel.

Day 3, February 7, Wednesday: Nazareth / Cana / Jordan River / Tiberias. After breakfast we drive to where HE lived as a young boy and visit a typical house of his time in Nazareth. We continue to where Jesus performed his first miracle – turning water into wine in Cana (John 2:11). Our day ends visiting the Baptismal Site- Jordan River. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 4, February 8, Thursday: Capernaum / Tabgha / Mt. of Beatitudes / Magdala / Mt. Tabor / Jerusalem. After breakfast, we descend and take a boat ride to Capernaum (Luke 4:31) to visit the ruins of an ancient synagogue and the Byzantine chapel at the site of Peter's House. We then continue to Tabgha (Matt 14:17, 19), the site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and the Fish, Mount of Beatitudes (Matt 5-7) and Magdala - home of Mary Magdalene. Our last visit today will be – the site of the transfiguration of Jesus (Matt. 17:1-8). Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 5, February 9, Friday: Our first site will be the Mount of Olives (Mark 13:3) with a panoramic view of both the "old" and "new" Jerusalem. We follow the path down the Palm Sunday Road to the Garden of Gethsemane (Matt 26:36) and the nearby Church of All Nations. We then take a short drive through the Kidron Valley to reach Absalom and Zachariah's Tomb. Continue to Mount Zion’s King David's tomb and the Upper Room (John 13:1ff), site of the Last Supper. Afternoon visit to the "little town of Bethlehem..." and its' Church of the Nativity and Milk Grotto (Luke 2:15). Our day ends with a dinner and overnight.

Day 6, February 10, Saturday: After our breakfast we visit the Israel Museum to view the original Dead Sea Scrolls and the model of Jerusalem during the time of Jesus. We will continue to visit the Wailing Wall (the Western Wall) - the last remains of the Temple built by King Herod. We proceed by walking the stations of The Way of the Cross ending at the Holy Sepulcher. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7, February 11, Sunday: Day at leisure for shopping or private tours. Optional tour to Qumran / Masada / Dead Sea for $125 dollars. We drive south to the Dead Sea through Qumran, to visit the caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. We’ll then continue to Masada, the palace-fort built by King Herod. Here, in 73 A.D., 960 Jewish zealots committed suicide rather than surrender to the Romans. The plateau is reached via a cable car ride with a spectacular view of the plains surrounding it. We’ll also dip in the Dead Sea – rich with minerals, God’s gift to your skin. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 8, February 12, Monday: Transfer to the airport for our flight back home. Arrival home in the U.S.A. on the same day. Welcome back. You have just returned from a lifetime experience.

Passports and Visas: Your passport must be valid at least until AUGUST 12, 2024 (It is your responsibility to check your passport to see if it’s valid for travel. As per TSA Guidelines your passport needs to be valid at least 6 months after the return date). USA Citizens including those born in Puerto Rico or Mexico do not need a visa to Israel. Other nationalities please check the Israeli consulate www.israelemb.org. Visas are handled directly by the passenger. You should have your visa by the final payment deadline. If you have a Green Card, please carry it aboard with you. Single room supplement is $450 for tourist class hotels and $525 for first class hotels mandatory for the participant that does not have a roommate. Aviatours and your leader will try their best to find a roommate, but if we are unable to find one for you 59 days before departure, you will need to pay the single supplement or will need to be accommodated in a triple room (which the 3rd bed is a rollover bed and not comfortable). IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO WRITE YOUR NAME on the application form EXACTLY as it appears in your passport! Airlines charge high fees to change names and TSA may not allow you to board your flight if your name on ticket and passport does not match!

BAGGAGE: Only 1 suitcase of Lb.50 is allowed free. Carry on should not exceed 12lbs.

Reservations and payment: Pay today non-refundable deposit of $415 (Includes travel insurance of $115 which covers cancellations due to medical reasons and Covid). 2nd payment of $500 no later than JULY 20, 2023. Final payment is due no later than NOVEMBER 25. 2023 to avoid a late fee of $85. Failure to submit payment will result in automatic cancellation of the seat accruing high penalties.

Cancellations and insurance: Between 180 – 120 days - a $595 cancellation fee; between 119 - 80 days prior to departure a $775 fee; between 79-60 days the fee is $775 + non-refundable airline tickets; between 59 days up to departure date, 100% of the total cost of package + the value of the airline ticket. In addition, there will be a penalty applied for cancellation fees in case non-refundable airline ticket has been issued and single supplement fee if cancellation affects the accommodation of your roommate at the hotels. Only written cancellations will be considered. Name changes up to 150 days are acceptable for a $150 administrative fee. From 99 days until day of departure, name changes will be considered as a cancellation. Travel insurance to cover the cancellation fees for medical reasons, as well as, medical expenses overseas, accidents, lost or damage of luggage, etc. Buying travel insurance with first deposit waives pre-existing medical conditions.
