Day 1- Flight from the USA via Poland

 

 Day 2,– Arrival to Warsaw

You will arrive to Warsaw and you will be meet at the airport by your personal guide and driver to be transferred to your hotel. Afternoon at leisure to relax after the travel
 

Day 3,– Warsaw

 Morning is consecrated to Warsaw Old Town visit, the part of the city that was carefully reconstructed according to the original plans after the World War II, and today it is listed as UNESCO World Heritage monument.  The central place is the Market Square, from which narrow streets lead to medieval defensive walls, Barbican, St. John’s Cathedral and the Royal Castle.  After lunch break  you will be taken to Żelazowa Wola (about 1hr30 drive)  - thebirthplace of Frederick Chopin. We will visit small manor house and it’s beautiful park, where on summer weekend the Chopin music is played.  Return to Warsaw Overnight in Warsaw
 
 

Day 4,–, Warsaw– Krakow

In the morning the guests will be transferred to the railway station for train transfer. Upon the arrival  to Krakow (about 3 hrs on direct journey) guests will be meet by English speaking guide and transferred to the hotel. On the afternoon panoramic tour of the city by car to get an idea about the city, it’s history and present live. During the tour you guide will suggest you between the others some restaurants for dinners. Overnight in Krakow
 

Day 5,  - Krakow Morning :

Guided tour of Krakow Old Town, with entrances to St Mary’s Church an Wawel Cathedral During this tour we will explore the medieval Old Town , with the Royal Wawel Castle and the Cathedral where the Polish kings were crowned and where some of them are buried together with the holly patrons of Polish state. Passing by the university quarter, with the oldest medieval Jagiellonia University buildings the tour continues to Main Market Sqare, where in gothic St Mary’s church the biggest in Europe gothic altar of Vweit Stoss can be admired. Guided tour of Kazimierz Jewish Quarter, with entrances to one of the synagogues and Schindler’s Factory From the 16th century it became the main cultural centre of Polish Jewry with its unique Oriental atmosphere. Its soul perished during the traumatic events of the Second World War, but many of the buildings, some still with Yiddish inscriptions, survived.  Today revival of Jewish life and activity in Kazimierz is becoming visible in the number of restored building and fashionable cafes, restaurants and bars filled with tourists from all over the world, The places worth seeing are: Szeroka Street where “Schindler’s List” was filmed, Old Synagogue or Remu’h Synagogue and before all Oskar Schindler’s Factory. This place, well know by Steven Spielberg film, has been recently renovated to house a spectacular museum of  Second World War and Nazi Occupation  in Krakow.Overnight in Krakow
 

Day 6, - Auschwitz

This day is dedicated to learn Europe’s WWII difficult history and visit  Auschwitz – Birkenau Memorial ( about 6 hrs including return transfer ) Auschwitz Memorial is included in the UNESCO’s World heritage List . One of the largest concentration camps built by Nazis to exterminate thousands of people today is a Museum of the Holocaust and a Memorial to the victims of fascism. The visit includes also a documentary film about the history of Auschwitz. Return to Krakow at the end of afternoon Overnight in Krakow
 
 

Day 7, - Wieliczka Wieliczka Salt Mines tour –

about 4h30 (depending on traffic) including return transfer Europe’s oldest, still operating, salt mine is also recognised by UNESCO as the World Heritage Monument. A 2,5 km walk with an expert guide through the chambers and corridors decorated with sculptures and figures, is an unforgettable attraction. Magnificent chapels, captivating underground lakes, original tools and equipment and traces of mining works allow us to understand the human struggle against the elements, the minres’ work, their passion and their beliefs. The Wieliczka miners have left behind many salt carvings and murals. In 1978, the mine was included in UNESCO's First World List of Cultural and Natural Heritage. The visit starts with a spiraling walk down 360 steps. Wieliczka is located 15 km from Krakow Afternoon at leisure Overnight in Krakow
 
Day 8, Departure from Krakow Morning at leisure for individual exploration of the city In the afternoon transfer to Krakow airport and departure to USA
