Please see the premium chart on the back side of this letter. You will note that we now offer a very inexpensive basic plan that offers medical expenses, travel delay, baggage and personal effects, baggage delay and accidental death and dismemberment for as little as $18! Those who wish to add trip cancellation and trip interruption will buy the Comprehensive Base Plan, which as you can see is very affordable.
I urge you to distribute this letter along with the enclosed detailed 360° Travel Insurance Certificate (TIC) leaflet. Medical expenses overseas are as expensive as in the USA. No one should take the risk of traveling without a protection plan.
When you purchase the optional Trip Cancellation coverage you also have Trip Interruption included as part of the package. This means that the insured person is covered for cancellation before or interruption during the trip for medical or terrorism reasons (the terrorist act must occur in the departure city or in the destination city within 30 days of the scheduled departure). Those who pay the premium with their deposit will even enjoy the pre-existing health condition exclusion being waived, provided they are not disabled from travel at the time they paid the premium (see page 10 of the TIC).
Please give this a priority when you promote your group tour. You will have a worry free trip if all your group participants join at least the basic program that costs a few dollars.
